Every year, Emma & I carve pumpkins together. We laugh, we roast pumpkin seeds, we may partake in a hard apple cider, and we always come out with some pretty awesome pumpkins, if I do say so myself!

When we were little people always thought we were twins.  Sometimes, people still ask.

This is me yelling at my dad who cannot seem to understand how to operate an SLR, and this is Emma cracking up at that.

Who doesn't love a good pampering?

So last Friday, I took mom to get a mani/pedi with me.
It's been a while since she's been able to get one due to some health issues she's been having. We both really enjoyed it!


Mom got French on her fingers and toes!

I got Essie's Lapis of Luxury on my nails.

And OPI's Cajun Shrimp on my toes!

We went to church Sunday morning and I got to see some of my bible study ladies!


After church we stopped at The Gourmet Shop in Five Points.

Holy Crap.

How did I not know about this place while I was living there?!



After that we hit up the frozen yogurt place! It was so yummy!

We ended the night with some of the guac I've been making ALL summer!
