Hump Day!

First off- thank ya'll so much for the sweet comments about me not being qualified. You all are right- something better is out there, hopefully I'll find it soon! But that's that and I'm over it. (kinda).

To make myself feel a little better I headed to Target yesterday since I have a gift card there. I ended up scoring some cute stuff!

& last but not least- some fun colored CD-R's.



I also found some cute bedspreads--I've been wanting something different lately in my room. Not sure yet, if I've found the one, but I'll definitely let ya'll know when I find it!

Hump Day Post

Good Wednesday afternoon ladies!

I hope you all are having a good week so far, mine's going alright... Monday I had a terrible upset stomach and laid in the bed all day... that part was great, but the sour tummy- not so much!

Yesterday & today have been pretty good, had dinner with mom last night and after work today I plan on going up to the mall to check out a wedding present for this weekend.

Speaking of wedding- does anyone have any hair suggestions? We are doing our own hair this weekend and I am not so great at doing fancy things... I'm thinking about investing in hot rollers... anyone have any they can suggest? Hopefully the weather will hold up for this one like last weekend!

Mom is having shoulder surgery tomorrow- she has a bone spur they are removing. If you guys could keep her in your prayers that'd be greatly appreciated!

Last little thing... has anyone else fallen in love with the new Rob Thomas CD? Cradlesong? I downloaded it last night and can't stop listening to it!

Who said Wednesdays were boring?

Not me!

First off- HARRY POTTER TONIGHT! ahhh I can't wait! I know a lot of people went to the midnight showing and I would have LOVED that, but I am not good at functioning off of 4 hours of sleep.

A lot of people have been posting on their facebook about it and it's driving me nuts! #1 because I want them to keep it to themselves after I see it, but #2, one guy came right out and said what happens. I mean, I already know b/c I read the book, but still, shut it dude.

Secondly- The wedding is only 3 days away! I made a pretty comprehensive packing list yesterday and I picked up the couple's wedding gift! The only thing I have left to do is make the rehearsal dinner bouquet from all the showers' bows. Any body have any good suggestions for doing that? I'm gonna look some up on-line, but if you know of any- send them my way!

Thirdly- I gave work my 2 weeks notice today. Ahh, I'm excited/nervous. More on this later!

Hump Day!

I'm going to apologize in advance... I don't have anything amazing to blog about today.

I just got back to the office from having a late breakfast/early lunch with my mom @ Cracker Barrel. I love that place- I got french toast w/ peaches & hash brown casserole. So good!

I am getting a massage tonight- SO excited about that!


::side note:: no one looks like that while getting a massage. actually, i'm pretty sure my make up would never look that good.

I do have a music suggestion for everyone- Eric Hutchinson. ABC's & Polka dots turned me on to him earlier this week and I just downloaded his album on iTunes last night. It's only $7.99 and it's such a great cd to listen to! I was jammin' out on my way to work! And I think I might download the new Dave CD so I can have totally new tunes to listen to on my way to Cola this weekend!

YAY KRIS!

Kris Allen won idol last night... definitely a surprise for me! I voted for Kris, but I just figured Adam was a shoe-in. I can't even begin to imagine what a whirlwind his life must be after last night! I'm sad it's over. I dont' know what I'm going to do on Tuesdays & Wednesdays now!

Tomorrow, instead of going to work, I'm going to volunteer with my friend ABC's & Polka's at her school for field day! I haven't been to a field day in FOREVER. I can't wait!! I am going to dominate over some 3rd graders.



So what are everyone's plans for the long weekend? Any fun plans? I think I'm going to Star Trek AGAIN :o) and work on my friend's wedding programs... I have about 200 to tie ribbons around. I'd like to do some sort of outdoor activity, so let's hope the weather cooperates!
