Wishful Wednesday
Ok so the super cute Kelsey over at The Seattle Smiths has started Wishful Wednesday. She actually started it a few weeks ago, but for some reason or another I haven't done one yet, but when I saw this week's topic, I said "Oh yea!"
So here goes nothing!
'I wish' .... My pet could talk because I have been dying to know everything!
Seriously? You want me to pick just one thing? Sorry, can't do it! First off, Bailey & Gus have very specific voices. I know all you other pet owners out there know what I'm talking about. Sometimes I like to "translate" for them and when I'm speaking for Bailey, he has a very high pitched, kinda flamboyant voice, but very very sweet. The dog doesn't know how to be mean. Gus on the other hand (Gus the Bus), he's kind of oafish. Huh, who knew that was spelled right. Anyway, he's goofy, and very clumsy/uncoordinated. He's got a lower voice. He's also the one that if you were in a group setting and you said "Hey, let's see who can (fill in the blank for something dumb)", he'd be your man. He too though is a very very sweet dog.
Anyway, I wish my pets could talk b/c I want to know what they're thinking all the time. I consider them members of the family and everybody else has a say-so why shouldn't they!
This picture was taken on Christmas morning, 2, maybe 3 years ago. It's one of my favorites of Bailey. He's saying here "Haaaay Mom, I love the flower behind my ear. It's so cute & totally goes with my style! Merry Christmas!"
For instance, Gus would say "OMG, put me down Puh-lease. I am so tired. You know I only stick my tongue out like this when I'm tired woman. Enough with the photobooth today. Gees."

You are the cutest thing ever! I am so glad you played because we wouldn't learn that you talk for your dogs otherwise. I love it!!! You are a great momma to those pups!
aw, great wish! I want to know EVERYTHING my dog thinks too! I always ask my husband "What do you think she is thinking?" and he always responds, "I have no idea, but I know she is happy"
