This leads me to my next topic... I sold my TV.
Nothing special or fancy here folks. It was a 19" old school tube TV that I got in college. I want to upgrade to a flat screen for my room. I'm thinking definitely bigger, but not huge. Do any of ya'll out there in the blog world have a flat screen that you're in love with? Or have any brand favorites you can suggest? I'm doing some research and looking online at Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam's, Target, Best Buy, etc., so any help you can give would be great!

We have a Vizio from Sam's and we love it! It has a really great picture!
When you find one you like, definitely get the SKU # and check bizrate.com. They'll look around the internet/stores and show you the cheapest prices they can find for that same product. One of our marketing reps bought a 52" tv that he found at Best Buy & when he checked Bizrate, found out they had it $200 cheaper somewhere else.
I've been looking to upgrade lately too and my favorite right now is a Samsung LCD 50". Although I plan on getting it for my living room so it's pretty big.
I have a Vizio I got at Target in Columbia actually that fit in my dorm room perfectly. It was 19 or 21 or 21.5 inches. I know thats a lot of discrepancy but it was great. I believe it was $199? Somewhere around there.
garage sale is on my agenda for the beginning of june after all the weddings i am in. time for some cash and getting rid of all my crap!
