The reason we have done so well this year is because of this man right here. Marcus Lattimore- I love you. |

SEC East Championship!
Last night, South Carolina Gamecocks beat the Florida Gators to clinch the SEC East Championship. This is a huge feat for my school. When they brought Spurrier on as head coach in 2005, this was a big goal for him to accomplish. Everyone had such high hopes from him. But something that was hard for South Carolina to do was recruit the kind of players it takes for a team to win the SEC East. Remember, we are in the same confrence as Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, all at one point in time, being huge power houses in college football. This year though, we beat them all. Even the #1 ranked team in the country, Alabama. We did have some losses, Auburn, Kentucky & Arkansas (all SEC teams) but I think that's pretty typical for South Carolina. They have to keep it real. Anyway, I could not be prouder of my school and what they've accomplished this year. Here's to December 4th. Wish I could go to Atlanta and see us take on Auburn one more time, hopefully redeeming ourselves!

GAME DAY!
Thursday, June 10
Just so ya know...
I don't really care about the NBA finals.
I do, however, care about the hat that Leonardo DiCaprio is wearing:

HOLLA!

Amazing Weekend!
Let me start off with this...

More on this awesomeness later.
So black Friday was a success!
Got to work about 7:30 AM and stayed til 5. We were pretty steady all day. I had some visitors throughout the day which made it fun! Some people came by I hadn't seen since high school graduation!
When I got off, I met up with some friends for dinner and a movie. My friend Carol was home from Durham, Natasha was home from Philadelphia, Sarah was home from Savannah, Angel, Emma, and Jenna all grabbed dinner. Then we went to see New Moon (again). After the movie, Carol, Natasha & I decided to have an impromptu photo shoot at Market Commons.

Saturday was gameday. South Carolina played its arch rival, Clemson. Lemme tell ya'll...I really try not to hate. I believe in disliking or having differences of opinions, but I hate Clemson. (Not any of my friends who went there, though :o))
Anyway, they have won the last few matches between our two teams and there is NOTHING sweeter than seeing them lose, especially to the GAMECOCKS! The final score was 34-17. I mean we beat them, beat them. Didn't squeak by, wasn't sheer luck. We. beat. them. Plus, it means bragging rights for a WHOLE YEAR! 2010 is gonna be ahhh-mazing!

So moving on, I had Natasha and Carol over for the game. Carol surprised Natasha by bringing another friend Kim, who has been in Argentina for the past year and a half working for Campus Crusade. Natasha was very surprised!

We all had a great time watching the game together. We made dad take a bunch of pictures after the game. I got to talking to them about how special our friendships were...how different our college friendships are than our other relationships. We all did some growing up in four/five short years. I know I am going to have these girls in my life forever!

After the game we went to the mall to hang out and ended up going to see New Moon, again! I just cannot get enough of Edward Cullen. Mmmmm.

So recap of this amazing weekend---2 days spent with college besties, 2 viewings of New Moon and a Carolina over Clemsux WIN=Amazing!

It's been a while...
Ok ladies- sorry I've been a little MIA...
Recap:
This Is It: Wednesday we saw the MJ movie. It was awesome. I wasn't sure of how the "format" was going to be-more documentary or concert style, but I think they did a great job of balancing the two. It gave all of his fans an inside look of how his mind works and how exactly he prepared for what was sure to have been an AMAZING concert. I did tear up a little at the beginning. It's still just a little surreal that he's really dead.
My mom & even my dad enjoyed it.

The only odd thing about it was the crowd that came to see it. I think everyone in there was over the age of 65. I kind of wanted to dance and rock out and sing more but ya know, it's all good. I definitely want to see it one more time before it leaves the theater.

Job:
I started working at GAP about a week ago. (Hence why I've been a little MIA) I really enjoy it. We have the CUTEST stuff right now. Some things I'm currently lusting after include:

::Sigh::
I also interviewed for a position other than sales associate: BVME: Brand Visual Merchandise Expert. I have one more interview, so hopefully I'll know something in about 2 weeks or so :o)
Pumpkins:
Emma & I carved our pumpkins yesterday! I think they turned out so cute :o)

(Dad wanted to get in on the fun.)
Football:
Right now South Carolina is playing Tennessee. On paper, we should when this game. We are 6-2, 3-2 in the SEC. They are 3-4, 1-3 in the SEC. We are ranked #22 and they are unranked. What's going on you ask? Oh I don't know, we've had two fumbles, both resulting in touchdowns for Tenn. Ugh, if there is one thing I hate ALMOST as much as Clemson, it's Rocky Top. Worst. Song. Ever. They play it in Neyland anytime someone farts. Excuse my unlady-likeness.
Tomorrow we're going to my dad's job's family day, so that'll be fun to see everybody!
I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!

Vacay Recap
I am super proud of me and my dad. We were gone for 8 days and we managed to see 17 family members! Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, a grandpa & a great aunt! We stopped in Harrisonburg, VA, West Oneonta, NY, Clearbrook, VA & Springfield, VA. We saw 4 little league games, 2 movies (Transformers 2 & Year One) and 1 swim meet that lasted 5 hours. Went to Dairy Queen (where my cousin has her fist job!) 3 times and went shopping at the mall in Albany, NY and played about a billion games of poker. We also consumed way too many cupcakes, that weren't actually cupcakes at all- more like mini cakes. They were huge! Anyway, here are some pics from the trip!

Ok, I'm not related to this kid, but I had to document this... there were a lot of other guy swimmers at the meet and he was the ONLY one wearing a speedo. My 8 year old cousin said "Oh yea, he's a show off..." haha it was too funny.
